Our story begins back in May 2017 when Schae first met Charlie at his high school graduation party. That summer, we spent countless days at his lake, laughing, and making memories. Fast forward a year, Schae needed a last minute prom date and had always adored Charlie, so she asked him to be her date. Luckily, he said yes :)

We always remained very close friends. Although we never took a shot at a real relationship until Schae moved to Arizona, that's when we started to take trips to visit each other more often. The distance was tough, but it brought us closer together. We treasured every moment we got to spend with one another. Then, October 28th, 2021, Charlie flew down to Arizona and asked Schae to officially be his girlfriend. About a year of long distance later, Schae made the decision to move back to North Dakota, where we began a brand new chapter together.

From getting our very first apartment together, to traveling out of the country for the first time together to Mexico, to simply living everyday life side by side, we've built a foundation of love, laughter, and support. We've been each others rock through all of life's highs and lows.

In the summer of 2024, Charlie completely surprised Schae by proposing at the place where our story truly began - the lake. Schae had only two requests for the proposal: that her mom and grandma be there, and that her nails be done. Charlie nailed the first request... the second, not so much. Schae had panic painted her nails with tears of joy in her eyes and unsteady hands just for her nails to not be undone!

From that first summer at the lake in 2017 to now, our journey has been filled with so much love, adventure, and an unshakable bond. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter-our wedding day, with the people who have supported us along the way!
